These pieces were inspired by amazing photos of a tribe in Africa who paint their bodies with pigments produced in the region purely for artistic expression. Using the local clays, plants, animal hides and feathers, and working with only their hands and small sticks, they decorate their bodies with elaborate designs, which they then display to one another.
